Day "1"


Day #1" of trip. Bike is loaded "HEAVY"!! After filling up with gas I'm on the road to Beaver Creek, YT.The weather god is looking out for me as it's not raining.
I will not be able to update until I get to Seattle unless I can find a computer with internet access.
I'm on the road!!

    g'pa made good time...beaver creek last pm and haines this afternoon, despite todays rain and gusty winds.

    Tahnks for the comments! The weather from FBKS to Haines was OK. I ran into 30 mph headwinds that lasted from Destruction Bay to Haines. Also traveled in the clouds and rain from Hanes Junction to Haines. Stayed in B & B in Haines to dry out. Small town that relies on tour boats and eagle watching.
